Flashback to 2009 Memories

Along of I made this blog at the end of year 2009, so I wanna go back to my memories in 2009 and write it down here. Truthfulness there were too many events happened to me, from the smallest until the biggest one. But I’ll write the event that I very remember that, or we usually said as “Unforgettable Moments” in my 2009 memories. Check it out.

1. Get out from beloved dormitory

Getting out from beloved dormitory was the first unforgettable event I would write about. I was very both happy and sad at that time. So many joy and grief events happened when I lived in dorm around 1 year with my friends. But there was one thing that we all very hated when we were living in dorm. That was “RULES“. So many prohibition we got in dorm: couldn’t go out in certain time, must entrusted Laptop, night studying (KBM Malam), forbidden to bring handphone and many again rules that was very against with us. But, although in dorm had so many rules, we could learn to be more discipline especially in conceiving the time.

Beside that bad rules, living in dormitory also gave us many unforgettable happy moments. Gathering with roommate and dorm-mate is the best moments ever in my life. We could play guitar and sing together, study about lesson together, do homework together (:P), eating together, play basketball, soccer and many things that I would really really miss them so much.

2. Journey to Padang and Lampung With Family

You know what I am very waiting for when holiday, yeah, that’s go vacation to somewhere to refresh my mind. In 2009, I and my family went to Padang and Lampung for holiday. But in different time. We aimed to go to lampung to visit my uncle and aunt since we had been long time visit them. It was not a vacation. Otherwise, we went to Padang just solely to get a vacation. We went to many beautiful and interesting place in Padang. Such as: Japan cave (Lobang Jepang), jam Gadang, beach, and waterfall (I forgot the name). Spending holiday with my family is the moment that I very really never forget it. Unforgettable memory.

3. Happy Events with My Beloved KIRANA Extracurricular

If I have to tell all events with my beloved KIRANA members, I think this blog will not get enough capacity to save that. Because you know, so many events that happened to me and my friends through this KIR activities. From research, made briket, coconut oil, oil presser, bio-pore,  joined many competition, breaking fasting together, near with senior and the most powerful KIR teacher “Pak Usboy”, and many activities again I did together with KIR.

4. Breaking fast Together (Bubar) with my JHS friends

This moment happened in Ramadhan, when we were getting stuck with ramadhan fasting. The moment that impossible for me forgot it, when I and my old friends Pusri Junior High School gather in PTC to break of fast together [Bubar (Buka Bersama) we usually said in Indonesia]. Woo,, it was really freaky awesome time when we met again after one year separated. We took many photo for reminiscence in our deepest heart respectively.

That was so fabulous, since each of us had many story that we wanted to share to. We smiled, laughed, and eat together when adzan Maghrib had been shout out, and even we took around 10 long tables in order we could eat together, nearer. It was very unforgettable experience in Ramadhan for me.

5. Lebaran with Big Family

After did fasting 30 days in Ramadhan, we all Moslem in the world celebrated the winning day Idul Fitri or usual we said as Lebaran. In Lebaran 2009, we all of my big family gathered in my grandma house to meet and forgiving each other. The memories that I very liked this day because I could meet with my funny and happy cousins. We played together, chat each other tell about jokes, news and many things that must be made my mouth always smiling and laughing. HAHAHA~ you know that was very glorious happy and funny time in my life.

6. Join AFS program

This was a program that can make my dream comes true. AFS stand for “American Field Service” which provide an opportunity for undergraduate students to Go Abroad. My objective now is to go abroad through scholarship and with AFS program I have a chance to reach it. In 2009 I and many of my friends joined this program, but must passed the test first. There were 3 test in this: 1st test was about general knowledge, 2nd test was interview, 3rd group dynamical. And luckily, I passed those three test. But we couldn’t satisfied yet, because we must write and show our  goodness through the papers in order to get host family and after that we can live in other country around 1 year. The final result would announced on 2010. So I’m still very waiting for this announcement.

7. Alkena (Album Kenangan/Reminiscences Album)Photo with My Classmates

Because we InsyaAllah will graduated from high school next year, our generation will make such a kind reminiscence album for all of students who graduated next year. Because of that plan, our class decided to take photos in “Punti Kayu” with theme GO GREEN. So at the day we wanted to take the photo, all of my class member included me, used green cloth. We took care about earth condition nowadays, Climate change, global warming, all of those must be prevent one of the way with do such a movement like us.

Finally, our class accomplished getting many photo each people. Before the photo attach on album, we have to edit first. Since our class theme is go green, so our template for ALKENA is full of green color too. It’s very glad to edit and write our idea in this template, because that album will be separated to all of students and they will read our writing for reminiscence.

Those all above are some of my unforgettable events happened in 2009. Beneath it all still many again my happy moments in 2009, but all these seven are enough to front for all of my 2009 memories. You know:

–we cannot redo the events in past, but we have big chances to do for the future better than past—
