Shawshank Redemption – The Ulterior Side of Prison Life

The 9.2 Rating is given to this film according to Internet Movie Database (IMDb) of the 10 scale placed it in the top movie of the year.

Heard those words from my friends some days ago, my avidity and my interest to know deeper that film had raised up till the peak of my curiosity function. So, I directly downloaded it and wrote in my agenda in order to watch this top rated movie in some of my leisure time.

The film that made in 1994,  Story about 2 imprisoned men bond over a number of years, finding solace and eventual redemption through acts of common decency. Revealing the ulterior side of the jailed life, brings us can feel and know how is the life in the back of iron bars. The routines in the jail, the bullying, until every deed that have done by the prisoners caused by the life they get in the high wall closed place and far away from the rainbow of real life.

Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) is a Banker who has been accused killing his wife while got her infidelity making affair with the other rich golf guy in one house with one revolver gun. He send to Shawshank prison because of his circumstantial evidence and begin to start his dark-closed life in the back of iron bars and prison guard. Yet, in this prison he doesn’t submit his all life to fate that he must do the prison routines. Meeting with Ellis Boyd “Red” Redding (Morgan Freeman) Andy succeed give the color and change in the prisoners life by his high knowledge and desirability to do something for the shawshank prison.

This film has the most amazing plot of all film I ever watched. The implicit lesson is showed in every chain of Andy and his friend’s life. The brilliant theme and situation of prison are brought till the end of the film. Every scenes have the meanings and gathered in one plot to make one best American drama film till this year.

For you who have not watched this film yet, I highly recommend to set aside a little of your leisure time to sit and watch this awesome film. I bet after you watch the film, the first think will go outside from your mind is the word “amazing!!”. :)
